On Tuesday (4th July) it was a pleasure to welcome players from England, Scotland and Wales to Handsworth for the 41st playing of the Bowl. Despite careful planning, the event clashed with other golfing events, which meant we only had an entry of 33 players.
Congratulations to the winner Jessica Hall from Bishop Auckland, who also had a hole-in-one at the 134 yards 4th hole in the second round.
With scores of 74 & 70, Jessica finished one shot ahead of Staffordshire’s Maria Toledo Bailey.
Mia Eales-Smith from Lindrick won the Frilford Jackson Bowl.
