Seventeenth Hole

Hole 17 - Pool

This hole is an uphill Par 3 with a green that is well protected by three bunkers and a large overhanging tree.
Attacking the flag can be tricky, especially when the pin is tucked underneath the tree, so the safest option is to aim for the centre of the green.

Insider's View

Having cleared the front bunker, avoided the magnetic attraction of the trees on the left and the three greenside hazards, with your ball landing safely on the putting surface in regulation. Over the years, I have discovered to my cost that par is no certainty, and walking off with a 3 is a very satisfying outcome regardless of your handicap.
