Get Into Golf Beginner Classes

Junior members represent the future of golf. By engaging young players, golf clubs and organisations ensure that the sport continues to thrive for generations to come.
Without junior members, there would be a significant gap in the player base as older generations phase out of the sport.
Get Into Golf Beginner classes
Of course, many professional golfers started playing at a young age. Junior programs encourage more young people to get into golf.
By offering junior memberships and programs tailored to young players and beginners, we attract families and introduce children to the sport in a fun and supportive environment. We hope that some will go on to become academy members and full members and enjoy playing our wonderful golf course on a regular basis.

Beginner Classes

It was great seeing our beginner classes start this month with a near-full quota of attendees for all three categories, taking advantage of our excellent golf practice facilities.
Despite the miserable weather, plenty of enthusiasm was evident in the practice area among children, adults, and intermediate juniors.

We run our beginner classes in line with the Get Into Golf initiative set out by England Golf and extend our heartfelt thanks to Lee Bashford (Class AA PGA Professional), John Martin (Membership Director), and Tracy Hampton (former Lady Captain) for their invaluable contributions to the success of our beginner classes.
