The Pro Shop staff, Lee Bashford, Paul Alldritt and Claire Bashford, are available seven days a week to provide a warm welcome and help make your visit to Handsworth golf club enjoyable.
Lee, Paul (Assistant Professional) and Claire deliver all the services you would expect from a good pro shop and are always on hand to advise and guide you about equipment and all golfing matters.
Lee has won several notable PGA Pro-Ams, a Worcestershire Stroke Play Championship, and is a two-time winner of the Warwickshire Match Play Championship.

Golf Equipment
The Pro Shop is stocked with all the latest golfing brands regarding golf equipment, including Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, Odyssey and Ping.
Lee stocks the clothing or footwear brands of Lyle & Scott, Ashworth, Greg Norman, Galvin Green, Footjoy, Skechers, Under Armour and Proquip, all at highly competitive prices.
There is a range of snacks and drinks available, and you will also find buggy and trolley hire, with pull trolleys and electric trolleys available. Please book in advance to ensure availablity.
Custom Fitting
If you plan to get a new set of golf clubs, why not consider booking a custom fitting? Getting clubs that fit you is vital to improving your golf swing.
The professional shop is also a custom fit specialist for Ping, Callaway, Titleist and TaylorMade and offers a (free of charge) custom-made fitting service to all members and visitors.
Getting your clubs custom-fitted can improve your overall swing experience by ensuring that your clubs don’t hit the ground before reaching the ball and increasing your chances of striking the ball straight.
Professional Coaching
Lee Bashford, the Class AA PGA Professional, is available for coaching for all levels, six days a week from Monday to Saturday. He has a reputation for teaching players of all abilities, from the complete beginner to the scratch player, county player and fellow PGA members.
Lee is known throughout the Midlands as the leading short game specialist coach. Handsworth Golf Club has excellent facilities to practice, including a large practice ground, a superb quality putting green, and a practice chipping and bunker green.
Beginners are welcome at Handsworth Golf Club, and Lee will take you through the first stages of your golfing life, adding to your early enjoyment of golf. Lee also runs free of charge coaching sessions for children and lady beginners.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a County scratch player, Lee can help you enjoy and achieve the most from your game. His short game coaching expertise is a sure-fire way to help you reduce your scores and lower your handicap.
This first stage can be done as a single person or as a group wanting to try the game for the first time, and preferential rates are available for groups wishing to take up the game. Individual and group coaching sessions are available.
Lesson fees
Individual and group coaching sessions are available and the lesson fees are as follows-
30-minute session £20.00
One hour session £35.00
6 one hour lessons package for the price of 5 = £175.00
All lessons include the free use of equipment and golf balls along with video analysis and SkyTrak launch monitor analysis.

Society & Corporate Days
Lee and his staff will be delighted to take the worry out of organising your golf day. They have many years of experience running golf days, from start to finish, writing up and checking scorecards and producing a final results sheet.
Lee can offer coaching and clinics on the day for non-golfers who may like to get involved in your corporate day. Organisers of society and corporate days will be delighted with the range of golfing gifts and prizes at very competitive prices.
