Sunday, November 12th, was the Remembrance Day Winter Stableford. The competition was a greensomes competition, with each player having to have six drives count.
Despite the unfavourable weather conditions, eighty-eight enthusiastic and resilient players turned up for the event on Sunday morning, displaying their unwavering commitment to the sport. The players seemed undeterred by the day’s dampness and were determined to perform their best.
After spending several hours on the golf course, all players seemed relieved and content when they finally finished their round and returned to the warm clubhouse. The clubhouse was a haven where everyone could unwind and relax after a challenging game of golf.
The results were as follows.

2nd Andy Loverock and Mark Dickinson 43 points
3rd Rob Hartill and Mick Maher 42 points
