On Wednesday, May 8th, the Seniors held their first trophy event of the year, the Trevor Degge Trophy, in which twenty-five seniors participated.
With warm sunny weather forecast and dry underfoot conditions, the first group teed off at 8.30 with Clive Weaver’s opening tee shot set for the middle of the fairway.
There were 25 seniors in the competition, and they all appeared to have an enjoyable round in beautiful conditions. The scoring was pretty tough even with the competition played off the Yellow tees.
