Please make yourself aware of our dress code.
Handsworth Golf Club has a long history and high standards. The club is also forward-thinking and embraces the modern golfer’s needs.
Acceptable attire in the MAIN CLUBHOUSE:
Gentlemen
Recognised golf apparel
Smart casual wear
Tailored shorts
Jeans (single colour, no rips)
Trainers (clean & dry)
Shoes or sandals with socks
Ladies

Acceptable dress in the SPIKE BAR / BALCONY:

Golf shoes, casual wear & shorts.

NOTE: all shoes and clothing MUST be clean and dry. GOLF SHOES are NOT allowed in the main clubhouse!
Acceptable dress on the COURSE:
Gentlemen
Recognised golf apparel.
Shirts MUST be tucked in at the waist.
Trousers must NOT be tucked into socks.
Shorts MUST be tailored.
Socks short, ankle, calf or knee length.
Ladies
Recognised golf apparel.
Shirts designed for golf.
Trousers must NOT be tucked into socks.
Shorts/Skorts must be tailored.
Socks which are golf appropriate.
UNACCEPTABLE DRESS IN THE CLUBHOUSE:
All outdoor clothing (waterproofs, etc), combat/cargo trousers, football/rugby/ round neck t-shirts (Men), golf shoes or hats. NO beach shoes (flipflops or sliders). Golf shoes ARE permitted in the Spike Bar only (clean & dry!)
UNACCEPTABLE DRESS ON THE COURSE:
Jeans, tracksuits, trainers, football/rugby shirts, beach shoes. EXCEPTION – trainers may be worn by children under 12.
